Gay Porn Bay Review

I have to admit that Gay Porn Bay certainly has a theme that excites me. I'm not all that keen on hacked accounts, but hell, if doing that means we get a selection of amateur gay porn, then what the hell. The theme is pretty much the ultimate in voyeur, albeit for a heftier than typical fee.

When you first sign into the members' area you'll find a page of upsells. It's an irritation, especially since all the ads are for straight porn, but you can easily bypass the page and get to the gay content. You won't find any bonus sites here, but there is an online community and you can upload your own homemade porn content.

Navigation could be improved considerably. You can sort the scenes by update, most viewed and top rated and you can even check out the most recently watched videos. There is a keyword search, as well, but there aren't categories to find specific types of guys, locations or even hardcore niches. It's a very basic system for a site with 1339 videos.

While there is a ton of movies to be found on GayPornBay, it doesn't look like the site is updating anymore. There is still enough here to fill your days with pleasure, but the last time anything was added to the site was nearly a year ago. I wouldn't hold my breath for the next update. However, there is a terrific collection of amateurs from twinks to Asians, athletic jocks and hairy bears. The action looks straight forward enough. There are guys jerking off, guys sucking cock and fucking. I didn't come across any wild fetish material, but then I also didn't watch every single movie. I did key in a few search words, though. Fisting turned up one movie, but my search for foot fetish and BDSM didn't turn up anything. It's pretty much standard gay hardcore on Gay Porn Bay.

I'd say that most of the videos run between 10 and 20 minutes. There are a few longer films and there are shorter clips as well. Usually, anything under a minute is a quick cumshot. There aren't scene descriptions and it's rare to find out the name of these amateurs, but then this fits with the overall theme. I'm not convinced that these are stolen videos from hacked accounts and the site doesn't play up the theme as much as I would have liked. Also, I don't think that anyone actually uploads home movies to this site. The films look homemade, but it's likely that the videos come from a variety of different sources and I doubt any of it is exclusive.

I like the concept of the site, but even I could shoot better quality porn using my cell phone. There are Flash streams and there are MP4 downloads. These are marked as high-quality, but I'm not exactly sure in what universe. The 576x432 pixels isn't too bad, but the 236kbps is a big disappointment. Needless to say, these are not crystal clear videos and it appears the sound in each film is mono.

Final Verdict

I could see Gay Porn Bay being a great site. I love the theme, but it's never played up. I like the selection of regular guys, but finding specific ones isn't easy with the navigational options available. I like the action, but the videos are very poor quality. I could see it being a great site, but I doubt it will ever be since the last update was nearly a year ago. If I were you, I'd take a pass on this site. There is a lot of content, but there aren't bonus sites and there aren't high-quality videos and it's really not worth it, certainly not for the price being charged.
